Shahed is inspired by the works of Jayadeva and Tagore. He is also drawn by the Yeats poem “Wild Swans at Coole”. Sufi poetry stirs him intensely. He frequently listens to the songs of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Kanika Banerjee and Pandit Raghunath Panigrahi.
